The company was incorporated in 1979 and went into production in 1981.It is situated on 6 acres of land at Fordnagar,Dhamrai,Dhaka The company owns and operates a jute yarn and twine manufacturing plant of about 2308 spindles, its production capacity being 4000 MT of jute yarn and twine per annum.

Jute is the most versatile natural fiber gifted to man by nature. Its grown mainly in Bangladesh and also in eastern part of India. It is the second largest natural fiber produced from the plant family tiliaceas and genus corchours. It is relatively cheap natural fiber with multiple uses.
